My Beloved, D'Orsay Flats

The phrase "better late than never" has never rang more true than today- well at least as it pertains to my blog and fashion identity! The D'Orsay flat may be "so 2013", but I have finally been struck by cupids arrow and they are my must have shoe for this spring!

I admit that this is not my first time admiring the d'orsay flat in all its glory, but I have tried them on countless times and been unsure if the style is flattering on my somewhat wide feet.

Alas, the journey is over as I have finally found a pair that I can not live without and what makes them doubly appealing...the price! Only $104! (I say "only" because Jenni Kanye's flats cost around $425).

I love that this style because it comes in a variety of textures ranging from leather to suede as well as colors including cobalt blue, tan, black, spotted and rusty clay! Personally, I am a huge fan of the black suede because it can easily be dressed up or down based on the occasion. The black is simple and classic especially with the added cut-out detail in the heel! If you aren't drooling over this particular pair check out the flats by Alice & Olivia, Steve Madden, Chinese Laundry, Vince and Manolo Blahnik!

The spotted pattern is a great playful print for spring and summer. The material is light and durable and will add an extra touch to any outfit!

I cannot wait to show you guys how I plan to style my new pair! Please stay tuned! Follow my fashion adventures on insta @ mypursuitoffashion!
