New Beginnings

After my 24th birthday I was inspired to make a major life change; I was craving adventure, independence, a new environment and most of all- a fresh start. I began meditating on what types of change would fulfill all my needs and I finally decided that the West Coast- LA to be specific- is exactly what the doctor perscribed!

The choice of location came down two cities- NYC and LA- in the end LA won. I wanted a creative space full of fashion, music, art and film that was perfect mix of city and the suburbs. Some place that was close to the beach and provided frequent sunshine (and no snow after this past winter)!

This post marks my second week in LA! I am very pleased with my decision; although there have been some kinks along the way (as is expected with all cross country moves), I have been taking this time to explore different areas of the city, meet new people and just enjoy my new home. Below are a few things that have made this transitional period easier than expected:

Avoiding traffic after work by sitting on a bench overlooking the Santa Monica beach.

Starbuck & palm trees.

 West Hollywood parking garage murals.

The entrance lighting at Hotel Sofitel in West Hollywood.

Reading, listening to my iPod and basking in the sun have become my 3 new favorite hobbies.

Runyon Canyon.

I am so excited to share my adventures in my new space with all of you as well as getting back to what I love fashion, art and decorating! Please stay tuned...
