So I just started working at a new major retailer and the clothing and styling has been a bit of an adjustment for me, but I am really trying to fit into my new work environment without loosing a sense of my own personal style. Despite the cold weather, I was determined to wear a skirt today! I paired my chambray shirt with a gold necklace, a orange skirt and patterned belt. This new job places alot of emphasis on layering and trying new combinations of color, texture and pattern. I hope you enjoy!

| Chambray shirts in all washes are my new favorite piece! They are an absolute staple because they can easily go from day to night and from casual to somewhat dressy- although I wouldn't wear it to the office! I am expanding my range of chambray shirts from a dark wash to the light wash and maybe even a western more tinted wash! |

| I really love using a necklace as a second collar! It adds texture, color and more dimension to the outfit in a quick an easy way. |
