Long- Sleeve Mini

Dress: Blu Pepper, Sweater: Zara,  Boots: Circa, Joan&David, Sunglasses: Kate Spade, Ring: Madewell

Over time these boots have begun to take one a more distressed look, which I am really appreciate.

Ever have those mornings where you wake up and already know exactly what you want to wear? Luckily, today was one of those days for me! I knew that I wanted to wear this long sleeve silk mini dress and pair it with my distressed light brown suede boots and a chunky over sized sweater. I usually try to avoid being too "matchy- matchy", but with a dress that has so much pattern and visual presence, I wanted the accompanying pieces to be subtle and cozy.

I love the pleating in the front of this dress, it is subtle, sophisticated and adds just the right amount of dimension. I usually pair with dress with a belt, but today I decided to let it hang free. I am a huge fan of the long sleeve mini dress trend, just be sure to be aware of the shape that it is creating depending on your body type. If the dress is bit more square shaped then fitted, its important that the length is short enough that is does not overwhelm your frame. I find that this dress is the perfect balance. Enjoy!
