Ladies, summer is just around the corner and you know what that means… summer workouts have commenced in preparation for bathing suits weather! I am especially feeling the push to get ready for the beach because my Europe trip is less than a month away and I fully intend to spend the entire month in a bathing suit (in an effort to pack light)!
I am naturally pretty petite and I have been an athlete for most of my life, but I have recently slacked off on my works and need to get my head back in the game. When I am in the mood to get fit I always look to my favorite celebrities for inspiration. Here are some awesome celebrity slim downs.
Christina Aguilera has had an ongoing battle with her weight; from her teenage days of Genie in a Bottle to her more voluptuous shape in Stripped to tiny figure in Back to Basics, Christina’s weight is some what of a roller coaster ride. This past March she debuted her new slim physique in a LBD. Christina credits her success to personal time. According to a source:

Snooki from Jersey Shore is another celebrity (I use the word celebrity loosely here) that has had an incredible slim down since giving birth to her first child, Lorenzo. The reality TV star managed to lose a whopping 44 pounds! She says that she is still working to maintain her petite frame, which goes to show that getting into shape is more than a few months of fitness and diet, it is a lifestyle. Snooki looks beach ready and happy!
Reaching your healthy weight in a safe way is necessary for woman at any age, Trisha Yearwood has alway tried to live a fit life by exercising and dieting properly, but like most of us she occasionally falls of the wagon. Her weakness seems to be for mac and cheese (mine too!). Regardless, Trisha has managed to shed 20 pounds and that is something to sing about! [via People]
I could never image the amount of pressure that celebrities endure to maintain their figure or slim down right after giving birth. Pregnancy is a lot for the body to handle and then to be scrutinized about not loosing weight quick enough would be incredibly stressful. Molly Sims trained with fitness guru Tracy Anderson seven months after giving birth to her son, Brooks. Even without having a child and training with Tracy Anderson for that long I doubt I could look like that! She looks happy, healthy and flawless! Enjoy your beach body, Molly!
Two months after giving birth to her son, Shakira was back to work on the hit television show The Voice. She looks absolutely wonderful and has all of us wondering, what is her secret? Where did all that baby weight go in a matter of two months? I have yet to uncover the answer, but nonetheless she looks amazing!
