My Fashion Wish List

My friends often tell me that I have a shopping problem because I am constantly making lists of things that I want to purchase. I find that compiling a list of things that I “want” versus  things I “need” helps me to feel more organized and budget more efficiently.

Then once I review my funds I can make a decision about whether or not I should purchase the item on the spot or wait until it goes on sale. I also make sure to think about how much I would actually wear the item. It is so easy to get caught up in the beauty of shoes, purses or other garments, but if you only wear it once it may not be worth the purchase! Here is a list of 5 things that my wardrobe is calling for:
 

I have been starring at this Clare Vivier fold over haircalf clutch for months! I am so in love! I am not usually an animal print girl because I do not know how to properly integrate it into my wardrobe. Yet after seeing one of my favorite bloggers, Emily Schuman wear it so many different ways I was inspired to try something new. Emily wears her clutch with all black, chambrays, vibrant skirts and dresses! She makes it work and some day I will too!

You can never own enough sunglasses! Since I am planning a month long Europe trip this summer I want to make sure that I bring multiple pairs of sunglasses just in case something happens to one of them or I just want to switch things up.

I think that these Madewell Drifter shades are adorable, funky and fun! I find the color to be refreshing since it is not the normal brown or black shades that I am accustom to finding. I must have these shades before I go!

I have yet to buy a pair of shoes from Zara, but I may have to snag these sophisticated black cap toe high heels with an ankle strap! I know that I do not need these shoes, but I surely want them! I have tried them on in store several times; they are comfortable, classic and the perfect heel height! Obsessed!

This caramel colored vegan leather skirt is a crucial piece that can be used year round! I am always willing to spend a little more on items that I know I will get plenty of use out of and this is definitely one of those items.

I love the A-line cut of the skirt with the pleats and the rich caramel color. I would wear this skirt with stockings and booties in winter, with sandals and tanks in summer and some cute stilettos for a girl’s night out. I am going to hold out and see if it goes on sale, but that is unlikely especially when it is already back-ordered until August!

Since I first saw my co-worker sporting these booties in brown I was in love! I have literally been checking the website everyday to see if they are going on sale. To my dismay, not only are they not going on sale, instead they are selling like hot cakes!

I am well aware that we are heading into summer and that the time to wear booties has passed, but with shoes like these will gone by fall. I love the metal detailing in the front of the shoe. I love the height because I will be able to walk around in them all day without losing feeling in my feet.

And most of all I love the heel cut-out detail! I ordered them on Saturday and I cannot wait until I get them in the mail! I will find a way to wear them with my with my skirts and dresses! Keep an eye out for pictures!
